Pearson Management Consultants is delighted to announce that its Managing Director, Bill Pearson has been selected as the Co-Chair for a new Manufacturers Alliance group in North Wales. The Alliance’s peer support groups focus on the collaborative growth and continuous improvement of local manufacturing businesses. A selection of non-competing manufacturing business leaders will join forces to openly sharing business and leadership best practice each month. Local manufacturers supporting other local manufacturers.
I am delighted to have been selected for this role. I am extending and deepening my support for the manufacturing sector and for North Wales – continuing my desire to support others in the region to improve and grow – a journey which began three years ago when I formed my business”, commented a happy Bill. “In the last few months I have invested time understanding the Alliance and how it works, I have attended other regions’ meetings and participated in the Group’s Chairperson Development process. Seeing the like-minded members of those groups supporting each other at their monthly meetings was the clincher – there is such a strong desire to help each other.
The North Wales Group is the eighth to have been formed in the UK. Gary Sheader, the Founder of the Manufacturers Alliance is particularly pleased with his latest region; “We know from our current groups that our members want to develop in a practical way and really value the experience and mentoring from the Chair people. In Bill, and his Co-Chair Simon Carin I have found two extremely experienced leaders, whose functional skills and capabilities complement each other. We are looking forward to extending our support to the manufacturing community in North Wales.”
The Manufacturers Alliance will be running a series of free taster events in the run up to the launch in North Wales. A chance for prospective members to test the water, meet the team and the other businesses interested in getting involved in the new group. I started my career in manufacturing and it has had a constant presence throughout it. As I enter the ‘later’ years I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to give something back” concluded Bill. “If you are a manufacturer in North Wales and want to grow and develop, I would be delighted to visit and discuss how I, and the Alliance can support you.
